Resumo

This work presents an application of the statistical technique of Simple Correspondence Analysis to understand
the interrelationship of variables and interpret the results analytically for events reports of interest with Fauna in Brazil and the different phases of flight involving the positioning of the aircraft when they are in the same physical space with the fauna. The data used were collected in the Bird Risk Management System (SIGRA), also known as Cenipa 15 (FC15). A total of 13,437 events, dated between January 2011 and December 2016, were considered and R software was used for the correspondence analysis. The results showed that there is an interrelationship between event type and flight phase.
